Hello everyone,
welcome welcome. You've made it ! Thank goodness, I've been looking for you!
Upon my arrival in Seoul, I had the opportunity to meet with many gyopos that were from various parts of the world. We shared common experiences that most native Koreans do not face, and we bonded over the cultural ties we had to the culture we were brought up in more or less.
When I left Korea, my chances to meet more gyopos were very slim, and it was hard to find them. It was unfortunate compared to the times I spent in Korea, where you never knew what kind of gyopo you would meet that day. So I searched all over the interweb to find them. However, what I found were old websites that weren't very active, outdated blogs, and sites that just were not very popular or user friendly.
So I started this blog, along with a group on facebook and on reddit so that gyopos from any part of the country can still interact with each other and meet other gyopos in their community.
So that's why this is here; I like featuring other gyopos on this site, so send me an email if you'd like to be featured and introduce yourself to the gyopo world.
I'm not here to create the ultimate gyopo website (maybe one day), however, it's a start, and I hope you will enjoy the content on here and maybe meet another gyopo along the way :)
